Review Classes for the August 2024 Criminology Board Exams

ATLAS-CDC Review Center announces the schedule for the REVIEW CLASSES for the JULY 31, AUG 1 & 2, 2024 CRIMINOLOGY Board Exams (CLE) at its Kamuning, Quezon City Main Branch. Online review will be simultaneous with the face-to-face review. The review classes consist of the BASIC COMPREHENSIVE COURSE and SPECIAL COACHING COURSE consisting of all subjects in the six (6) areas of the board exams under the new Curriculum as prescribed by RA 11131. 

The 6 areas of the exam are as follows:

(1) Criminal Jurisprudence and Procedure (CJP) – 20%: Criminal Law (Book I); Criminal Law (Book II); Related Special Penal Laws; Criminal Procedure; Evidence; Court Testimony

(2) Criminalistics (CRI) – 20%: Forensic Photography; Personal Identification; Forensic Medicine; Polygraphy; Examination; Forensic Ballistics; Questioned Documents

(3) Law Enforcement Administration (LEA) – 20%: Police Organization and Administration, Police Planning; Police Patrol Operations, Police Communication System; Police Intelligence; Police Personnel and Records Management; Comparative Police Systems; Industrial Security Management; CLFM 1: Character Formation with Patriotism and Nationalism; CLFM 2: Character Formation with Leadership, Decision Making, Management and Administration
 
(4) Crime Detection and Investigation (CDI) – 15%: Fundamentals of Criminal Investigation; Special Crime, Organized Crime Investigation; Fire Technology and Arson Investigation; Traffic Management and Accident Investigation; Drug Education and Investigation; Vice Control

(5) Correctional Administration (CA) – 10%: Institutional Corrections; Non-Institutional Corrections

(6) Criminal Sociology and Ethics (CSE) – 15%: Introduction to Criminology and Psychology of Crimes; Philippine Criminal Justice System; Ethics and Values; Juvenile Delinquency and Crime Prevention; Human Behavior and Crisis Management; Criminological Research and Statistics

The review classes will have 76 class meetings which include: 
  • lecture classes (252 hours)
  • 13 Post-Tests with 13 Post-Test Rationalizations (104 hours)
  • 6 Mock Board Exams with Rationalizations in each of the 6 areas of the board exams (48 hours)
  • 6 Pre-board Exams with Rationalizations (96 hours)  
  • Special Coaching for each of the 6 areas of the board exam (48 hours) 
  • 3-day Final Briefing and Last-Minute Tips 
The whole review will span for 18 weeks before the board exams.
